Re-opening in 2010
On Saturday 21st March 2009 at around 11:15am the restaurant was on fire, at any one time during the day over 8 fire engines from across the county transporting over 50 fire fighters onto the site to assist in the battle to contain the blazing fire. The fire was finally stopped in the evening leaving a devastating site that has been the landmark of Caxton and South Cambridgeshire.
We would like to thank all our customers, friends and neighbours who have kindly left heart felt warm messages on different news sites, letters and cards giving us great encouragement to move forward. As a result of public demand, we have open a Facebook group, if you have photos or video taken of the event, please upload it to our site.
Following the fire which forced our Caxton restaurant to shut down, Yim Wah are pleased to announce that we will re-open the restaurant in 2010.
